Viva Clinic Building
Viva Clinic is situated in the central part of the biggest bulgarian resort – Sunny Beach.
It was nominated for the "Building of the year" award in Bulgaria in 2009.
The strategic position allows quick communication with the main road Burgas-Varna and easy access to the nearby settlements. More than 30 parking places are provided for the staff and the visitors. The building has 6 floors, each of them designed according to its specific function.
The facade of the building is a combination of structural glazing and ventilated curtain walls. The solid parts of the facade consist of alluminium composite panels in two colours and granite-like tiles. The double glazing of the facade is done with the latest generation of energy saving glass.
The building is used not only by Bulgarians, but also by a significant number of foreign tourists. For that reason it is designed in accordance with not only the existing bulgarian norms for medical establishments and requirements for accessibility for disabled persons, but also to meet the european medical standards.
The design was made after a careful research of the western European experience in designing medical facilities. The goal was to achieve a vision, different from the common idea of a medical establishment, in order to avoid the usual negative emotions, associated with a visit to a doctor. The interior is with light and warm colors in order to create a feeling of cleanliness and comfort.
The structure of the building is reinforced concrete, the exterior walls are built with bricks, providing excellent sound and heat isolation. All the interior walls are covered with antibacterial paint. The air-condition facilities are hidden behind decorative elements, integrated in the facade. The floors are covered with granite-like tiles and special PVC floorings, with antistatic, antibacterial and anti-slippery qualities.
The building “Viva clinic” is a successful combination of a clear modern vision, with attention to the details, most up-to-date construction technologies and comfort. The materials and systems used are united under the idea to achieve maximum energy saving.
